Condor Temple
The image shows a natural rock on the Machu Picchu archeological site in Peru. This rock is believed to represent a wing of the condor. A condor beak is carved in front it. According to the Inca legend, the natural rock shown in the image and carved condor beak make up the Condor Temple.

The Andean condor is revered in the indigenous cultures of South America. In the Inca religion, the condor symbolizes the upperworld realm known as Hanan Pacha. So, it played an important role in the Inca culture.
