Tonle Sap Lake – A Floating Catholic Church
Located 30 miles south of Siem Reap in Cambodia, Tonle’ Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. It is home to many floating villages inhabited by the Vietnamese and Cham.
The image shows a floating Catholic church. The floating villages function like regular villages with floating schools and shops. The people in these villages earn their living by fishing.
