Statue of Nandi the Bull in front of the eastern gopura
The Banteay Srei Temple complex is located 16 miles northeast of Siem Reap, Cambodia.

The image shows a damaged statue of the bull known as Nandi placed in front of the east facing facade of the eastern gopura of the innermost enclosure of the temple. The gopura depicts Shiva’s cosmic dance (Shiva Tandava Nritya). His vehicle Nandi the Bull is appropriately located in front of the gopura.
