The image shows two sections of the north side exterior wall surrounding Navaranga, which is the front portion of the temple.

As you can see from the image, the wall sections are perpendicular to each other, sharing a pillar at the corner pointing outwards. This pillar has two bracket figures mounted on it, whereas, the pillars in the middle, as well as the pillars in the inward pointing corners, have just one figure mounted on them. The perforated stone windows, known as jalandhras, are in the space between the pillars. The holes in the jalandras allow light and air into the interior of Navaranga.
